Me, myself and I Are all in love with you We all think you're wonderful We do Me, myself and I Have just one point of view We're convinced There's no one else like you It can't be denied dear You brought the sun to us We'd be satisfied dear If you, you'd belong to one of us So if you pass me by Three hearts will break in two 'Cause me, myself and I Are all in love with you

All that meat and no potatoes Just ain't right, like green tomatoes. Here I'm waiting, palpitatin', For all that meat and no potatoes. All that meat and no potatoes All that food to the alligators, yes. Hold me steady. I am ready For all that meat and no potatoes. I don't think that peas are bad. With meat most anything goes. I look into the pot. I'm fit to fight 'Cause, boy, you know that mess ain't right. All that meat and no potatoes Just ain't right, like green tomatoes. Woman, I'm steamin'. I'm really screamin' All that meat and no potatoes.

Mairzy Doats 02:48
I know a ditty nutty as a fruitcake Goofy as a goon and silly as a loon Some call it pretty, others call it crazy But they all sing this tune: Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you? Yes! Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you? If the words sound queer and funny to your ear, a little bit jumbled and jivey Sing "Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy" Oh! Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you-oo? A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you?

Loafin' Time 05:53
Loafin' time, I can't do a thing Summertime just brings me down Diamonds on a lazy stream All I want to do is dream ILoafin' time, by a swimmin' hole With my fishin' pole I found All the world's a happy rhyme, yas Happy 'cause it's loafin' time I just love this lazy way of livin' Don't you know that doin' nothin' ain't no sin If it is, I hope that I'm forgiven 'Cause I got nothin' to do, And I got all day to do it in. So I'm takin' my time because it's Loafin' time, I'm the happy one I'm following the sun around around around around I'm content as long as I'm, Loafin' 'round at loafin' time

A buzzard took the monkey for a ride in the air The monkey thought that ev'rything was on the square The buzzard tried to throw the monkey off his back But the monkey grabbed his neck and said, now, listen, Jack Straighten up and fly right Straighten up and fly right Straighten up and fly right Cool down papa, don't you blow your top Ain't no use in divin', what's the use of jivin' Straighten up and fly right Cool down papa, don't you blow your top The buzzard told the monkey, you're choking me Release your hold and I'll set you free The monkey looked the buzzard right dead in the eye and said Your story's touching, but is sounds like a lie Straighten up and fly right Straighten up and stay right Straighten up and fly right Cool down papa, don't you blow your top Straighten up and fly right Straighten up and stay right Straighten up and fly right Cool down papa, don't you blow your top Fly right

We lived our little drama, we kissed in a field of white And stars fell on Alabama last night I can't forget the glamor, your eyes held a tender light And stars fell on Alabama last night I never planned in my imagination a situation so heavenly A fairy land where no one else could enter And in the center just you and me, dear My heart beat like a hammer, my arms wound around you tight And stars fell on Alabama last night

Spinach Song 03:07
Spinach has vitamin A, B and D But spinach never appealed to me But one day while having dinner with a guy I decided to give it a try I didn't like it the first time It was so new to me I didn't like it the first time I was so young, you see I used to run away from the stuff But now somehow I can't get enough I didn't like it the first time Oh, how it grew on me! I didn't like it the first time I had it on a date Although the first was the worst time Right now I think it's great Somehow, it's always hittin' the spot Especially when they bring it in hot I didn't like it the first time But oh, how it grew on me I didn't like it the first time I thought it was so strange I wasn't getting much younger So, I just made the change No longer is the stuff on the shelf 'Cause now I make a bigger myself I didn't like it the first time But oh how it grew on me I didn't like it the first time When I was just sixteen I didn't like it the first time Guess I was mind and green But I've stepped up 'Cause I've gotten wise I've got enough for two dozen guys I didn't like it the first time But oh how it grew on me
8.
I know why I waited Know why I've been blue I've been waiting each day For someone exactly like you Why should I spend some money On a show or two When nobody sings these love songs Exactly like you You make me feel so grand I wanna give this world to you You make me understand These foolish little dreams I'm dreaming And schemes I'm scheming Now I know why my mama She taught me to be true She knew just around the corner Was somebody like you
9.
Grab your coat and get your hat Leave your worry on the doorstep Just direct your feet To the sunny side of the street Can't you hear a pitter-pat? And that happy tune is your step Life can be so sweet On the sunny side of the street I used to walk in the shade With those blues on parade But I'm not afraid This Rover crossed over If I never have a cent I'd be rich as Rockefeller Gold dust at my feet On the sunny side of the street Grab your street

about

andymacdonaldmusic.ca/2020/11/19/melody-andy-on-a-sunny-day/

In jazz, the intimate art of guitar & vocal duos is equal parts fun and
challenging. The fun part is all the open space. The challenging part is... all the open space! The jazz duo is made easier when both musicians listen carefully to one another and bring a sense of playfulness to the music. We made this album in the midst of all that was 2020, so the creation process was a “sunny day” refuge from all the uncertainty. Rain or shine, we hope this collection of songs we love to play will warm your heart.
